My second stint with Windows Vista; I must say it’s better

Last summer I decided to upgrade my XP Media Center Laptop with the new Windows Vista Home Premium. In the beginning the new operating system worked fine, sure there were a few hiccups and eventually it became unusable and some of the new software, like the issue I had with the new Zune software, so I had to uninstall Vista and go back on to Windows XP.Since the Vista debacle I decided to start using my Mac a little more and eventually it became my primary computer. So for about two months I used OS X exclusively and only used the XP laptop for media sharing to my Xbox 360. Any ways my school upgraded to Windows Vista and in order for me to connect to their software at a reasonable speed I to would have to run Vista. After installing it a week ago one thing is clear,Microsoft has improved Vistas performance dramatically. After installing the 40 odd new updates the boot time was cut by almost a full 10 seconds and opening and closing folders and programs is almost instant now. Also the random crashing I experienced before was gone! I can truly say that Microsoft has improved Windows Vista since a few months ago, its good to see that are improving their software. While I am not ready to move back to Windows full time it is a good feeling knowing that I can depend on the OS to work.(Also there are a few new updates released today that improve the system and stability.)
