Convert your DivX movies into HD for free

With the recent update for the Xbox 360 many people are now watching their DivX movies via the system on their big HDTV’s but most of the time the picture is less then stunning. So how do you turn those DivX files into an HD video? Well its simple and free,

  1. Download the DivX pack from their website here.
  2. After installing click the start button then navigate to DivX then open DivX Converter then click “DivX”
  3. From here you need to navigate to the video you want to  convert then drag and drop it into the running program.
  4. Right above the word “Convert” you will see the word theatre and two arrows, click the right arrow until you see the word “High Def”. This will convert the video into 720p
  5. Now all you have to do is click convert and wait for the video to convert.

Now your video has been upscaled into 720p HD. While this wont look as good as Blu-Ray or HD-DVD it will match that of a DVD upscaled into HD, which looks great. If you know of a better way to do this or how to get better results please leave it as a comment.

Now…
1. Open The Software
2. Click “Advanced options”
3. Click “Load options”
