How to erase a CD-RW in OS X and Windows

OS X
- Interest the CD-RW
- Open the program "Disk Utility"(found in Applications-Utilities)
- Navigate to the targeted CD and click Erase, make sure have selected the device icon and not the volume icon.
Windows
- Click Start
- My Computer
- Navigate to the CD and right click and then click "Erase this CD-RW"

I like how you made it for OS X, but can you make a tutorial on how to erasea CD-R on Windows? That would be real helpful if you could do that.

hey, how do you erase a CD-R in windows. not a CD-RW, a CD-R.

You cannot erase a CD-R. The R stands for, recordable not re-recordable. Only RW, re-writable, disks can be rewritten on to.
