It’s Been A Sad Day (Xbox 360 And Laptop Died)

Today my launch day Xbox 360 Core System has met its fate with the red rings of death. So now after getting a new HD Monitor and VGA cable for the Xbox 360, for Christmas of course, I will no longer be able to use them at this time. Instead of repairing the Xbox 360, I have no warranty, I have decided to wait and by the new Xbox 360 Arcade System so I can use the HDMI inputs on the monitor. I have one question does the new Xbox 360 Arcade System feature the new falcon chip set? Does it run better? Crash less?
Also the battery in my Dell laptop has been dead for around 3 months now and this morning my AC adapter went out to. So now it looks like I will have to pay $60 for the charger and $120 for the battery.
I think I need to set up a charity for myself, its going to be a sad Christmas.
Update: I have contacted Microsoft and they have agreed to fix it, free of charge, I hope they replace it with the new ones, the HDMI would be sweet on my new monitor!

I have heard that they do ( at least some ) but you are not guarunteed to get the falcon 65nm chip. At this point, it is quite possible you would as the first batch that may have not had them are probably already in gamers living rooms.
Take that with a grain of salt though, it’s all I was told from, who heard from etc..
Also just get yourseld the AC adapter for now and save for the battery. At least you can still use it this way. Crappy deal, but your not totally screwed.

omg i agree that would be a sad day ive had a couple things like that happen to me in the past week also
