Ok I figured out this workaround to get the new wireless syncing feature to work on my Zune 30 on Windows XP. This fix does not fix the issue of “Can’t connect to network” for ever but it does correct it for the short term.
1. Click the start button and open “Control Panel”.
2. If not already selected switch to classic view,
3. Now click the option for “Administrative Tools”.
4. From here click “Services”
5. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of this list and right on “Zune Bus Emulator” and highlight “all tasks” then click restart.
6. Now repeat step 5. for “Zune Network Sharing Service” and “Zune Wireless Configuration Service”
Now your wireless sync should work issue be for the time being but most likely will fail upon a reboot of your computer. If you have a better solution for this then please share your knowledge and leave it as a comment.

on XP;
Click on Start, Run, type in “services” without the quotes.
Verify that “SSDP Discovery Service” and “Zune Bus Enumerator” are started and set to Automatic.
Start “Zune Network Sharing Service” and “Zune Wireless Configuration Service”.
Try to Wireless Sync.
If it works, set the “Zune Network Sharing Service” and “Zune Wireless Configuration Service to Automatic”.

I still get an error when I try to wireless hookup with the marketplace. I get a ‘Can’t Dowload due to network error’. I have added Zune to my exception on my oersonal firewall. I tried to add the MAC address to my router (D-link Di-624). I will say that I did not see my router on the list of cpmpatible routers.
I can wireless sync to my PC. I just can’t wireless download from the marketplace (which was one of the big selling points for me). I have called Zune Tech support and spent over 2 hours and they are absolutely worthless. HELP!!!!
