I Am Addicted To Call of Duty 4

Yes it’s true: I cannot stop playing Call of Duty 4 for the Xbox 360. When Halo 3 and Gears of War came out I thought they were great games and you couldn’t get much better, and I was wrong. The AI in this game is just insane. People act and react like real people and you get the sense that you are playing real people even when facing the computer. The difficulty level of this game doesn’t make for a frustrating experience just an addictive one. Never in a game have I hit the “restart” option so many times  and still have have fun.  

The story for this game is just great. Unlike in previous Call of Duty games they have created a new world with its own interesting pieces. You are in a modern world like ours where all of Europe and the Middle East are at war. You play through the game as a British and American soldier in an unforgettable campaign mode. As you fight through the Middle East and Europe you get the sense that you are really in war. Unlike in other games the bad guys just don’t shoot at you, they shoot at all of your teammates. So its not like you are some special here, just another solider.

The graphics are just, WOW! I mean I am playing on a SDTV and it still looks amazing. All of the detail in the game matches that of Gears of War and in many ways surpasses that. The big things about the graphics are the animations. People look and move like real people. No more stupid running into the open and doing the same animation over and over again. No two bad guys react the same and all seem to have a set of animations, very refreshing.

I could write more and I should but I must go back and play this game online now, seeing as I just beat the campaign mode. So is anyone else out there playing COD4?
