So what is Joost and why is it amazing? Just is a program for Windows and Intel Macs that allow to stream tv shows an podcasts for a reasonable price of free. Now I have tried programs like this before with Sopcast and TVU Player but nothing comes close to the elegance of the Joost interface. If you have ever used Linux Media Center then you can get a picture of what the interface looks like, the best part is that they never focus away from the content that you are watching. With Windows Media Center when you want to check other shows the picture is reduced to small frame on the bottom right corner, with Joost the picture remains full screen with the programs overlaying it, it blends well.

So what can you watch on Joost?

Joost has an already amazing library that can only grow and get better. Some of the bigger shows on there are all of the hit CBS shows like How I Meet Your Mother and even clips from The Late Show. Also featured on there is some lovable Podcasts like Cranky Geeks and DL TV. If you are a fan of older TV shows then you will not be let down seeing as they plenty of episodes from Married With Children, Bewitched, Who’s The Boss?, Martin, Full House, and the infamous The Ben Stiller Show.

While a lot more can be down to improve this program,
Joost is still worth a download.
