The main thing that drives people to Linux today is they want to be as far away from the crap that Microsoft calls Vista, well someone thought it was a good idea to combine Linux with Vista. Vixta takes its looks from Vista’s GUI and combines the power of Linux, its not a bad idea. I the reason I enjoy booting up into Linux is knowing that it has nothing to do with Micrsoft’s OS. Now I have nothing against Micrsoft but I am anti-Vista in a way, I enjoy my Zune and Xbox 360, obviously, but I refuse to have my Linux to look like Vista, OS X is a different story. I haven’t downloaded it but I think I will stick to Ubuntu for all of my Linux needs. I mean this is kind of a good idea for people moving from Windows to Linux, but us serious geeks would never use this.
