iPhone? No, Thank You.

When the iPhone was released I was in awe of it, then Steve Jobs said that AT&T would be the carrier and it broke my little heart.
The thing that pulled me into the iPhone was the YouTube and Safari integration. I mean it would be very useful to me to check my e-mails in school without having to bust out my ol’ laptop. But because AT&T is not in my area I could get the thing - till now. The iPod Touch was announced and I think for the first time Steve Jobs made me cry (well one other time, but everyone tries to forget 1997). It does everything that I need it to do. I don’t really care about the phone part (my cell is good enough). The price is also a good selling point. The storage is a negative, though - with flash-based memory this unit shouldn’t last very long. So tomorrow my iPod Touch should be shipped to my house and a review will follow.
