A month after NBC and Apple had a falling out about the price of NBC’s content on the iTunes music store, NBC has decided to offer its shows as free downloads, kind of. It is just for a limited time to get people to visit its download service. NBC is smart knowing that it is an uphill battle against the iTunes store. One positive out of this is that NBC will eventually start to offer HD content for download; still, there is no way NBC can compete with spending $30 a year and having all of The Office episodes automatically downloaded to your computer and synced to your iPod; maybe NBC will have its stuff Zune ready.
