Firefox Helped Me Rediscover The Web

Before finding the amazing Web browser Firefox, I was stuck with IE 6 then IE 7. While neither was terrible, I expected better.

First off, IE 7’s tabs are a joke to me; they really slowed down my PC. Then one day I found Mozilla’s Firefox, and it made my life easier. The things I love about Firefox:

  • The tabs are super fast and it makes it easier to open many windows at once.

  • I love how it remembers my passwords and automatically logs me into certain Web sites.
  • Firefox is a lot more secure and stable than IE.

So goodbye IE, it was nice knowing you. Firefox, I love you.

I’ve always loved Firefox, I love how you can add on to it making truly your own browser. I have always try to convenience people to switch over to Firefox, but they don’t seem to find the need to switch over. MY brother was using IE6 for the longest time until he switched over to Firefox. I am really happy he did because he had so much crapware and spyware on his computer from all of the ActiveX stuff that IE6 and 7 use. Firefox is also much more faster then IE7, but you can make it faster.

Go to the address bar
type in about:config, then type in pipelining, and change it to 10 and the other two to false. Restart Firefox and it will speed up, you can also download Fasterfox from Mozilla add-ons page making even faster, But I am using 2GBs of ram so I guess it’s already fast for me.
