Where We’re Going We Don’t Need Roads

This is mostly an entertainment blog. The stuff I write about usually deals with film or television shows that I’m into or have recently seen. Sometimes, though, I just have to write about something I’m totally geeking out about. That’s what this is.
So what is it that I just can’t resist writing about?
It’s a picture, actually.
I live in the great city of Savannah, GA. Despite the city’s reputation, though, I am personally not a partying kind of guy and tend only to visit the downtown area when I have to (or can’t talk my way out of it otherwise). But today was a friend of mine’s birthday and I met her downtown to hang out for a little while. Long story short: We’re driving down Broughton St. looking for a parking spot when, suddenly we come across what’s in the image below and I just couldn’t resist snapping a picture of this bad boy.
And so I share it with you.

UPDATE:
Just did a little bit of digging and found a little more information on this baby, if you’re interested.

So it was there for people to take pictures of it for CHARITY and you took a picture of it for free? Classy. And then you published it on your site to make money off of it.

Didn’t know it was for charity until I was out of downtown — maybe you didn’t pick that up from the context. As for money, well, this is a small little blog ran only by me. Sure I have AdSense, but I’d be surprised if I made 10 cents off of this post. In fact, the whole reason I updated and posted the link to the article (which in turn posted a link to The Michael J Fox Foundation website) was because I kind of felt bad I didn’t donate any money.
But based on the tone of your comment, I doubt any of this really matters anyway — can you even hear me up there on that pedestal?
