About David

Hey there! My name is David Banther, and welcome to my Lockergnome Blog. My wife and I reside in my hometown of Tarpon Springs, Florida, a small Greek influenced community on the water in Tampa Bay. I am a true “Florida Cracker” and enjoy all things (though not always the heat) that this area has to offer.

I have my Bachelor of Science in Economics from Hillsdale College and my Masters of Science in Management (Information Technology) from Colorado Technical University. I manage our family business, as well as serve on a local city board, and on the board of managers for the Tarpon Springs Boys & Girls Club.

Technology and social media are my passions, you will find my thoughts on these subjects on here on my Lockergnome Blog. My other hobbies include “Ham Radio” (KI4TWT), weightlifting, and being an amateur weather forecaster fanatic. I guess they all kind of sound ” geeky “.
