Find My iPhone

I, along with everyone else who has an iPhone, installed the OS 3.0 last week. It came with a number of new features, which makes the device even better than it already was. But, there is one of the many features that I want to point out in this post: Find My iPhone. And the only way you can use it and access it, is through MobileMe. This means that MobileMe has become a must-have. I already have been using MobileMe since .Mac, therefore, this was especially exciting for me.

MobileMe is $99 per year, and the new feature they have added is worth that price alone. It is called Find My iPhone, and it in fact does just that. All you have to do is log in, and go in to your Account Information. You can do one of three options: Track the device, send a message to the device, and wipe the device. This is a must have if you lose your iPhone or it gets stolen. Check this feature out; you someday may need it and you will be glad you subscribed to MobileMe.
