Most parents out there do not realize the dangers of the internet. You need to become fully aware of what’s out there in order to protect of your kids. Kids will intentionally type in incorrect URL’s which will get them to unwanted sites. Leaving kids on a computer open to the world wide web is like telling them to leave with a stranger. There is plenty of information on the web for parents as well as software to help in protecting your kids. I know first hand that kids while not supervised are very curious and venture of to things they should not be into. It is our job as parents to protect our kids from strangers willing to do them harm. We as parents need to take the initiative to lock down the internet starting at your personal computer and make it PG or in my case PG13.
