Here has been a lot of buzz around the two new operating systems out. Microsoft Windows Vista and Apple’s Mac OS X Leopard. Well Windows Vista as been out well for about over a year and there has been news that Vista has a lot of problems. People saying that drivers don’t work when you plug USB devices in. There has also been problems upgrading you computers from windows XP to Windows Vista probably one of the biggest problems with upgrading is inadequate ram. So if you do decide to upgrade make sure you have enough ram. I suggest to have over enough. Well if your thinking of upgrading to Vista I would wait a little while to give Microsoft some time to work out a lot of the bugs in Vista. Well that’s enoigh talk about Vista let’s talk about Mac OS X Leopard.
There has been talk that Leopard is far better that windows Vista and with that I would have to agree. Apple really did a good job on their new OS. Mac OS X Leopard has been the second Mac OS that I have used and I have to say it is a big improvement over Tiger their previous OS. Their is also another nice featuer in Leopard probably one of the most talked about programs in the OS. Time Mashine what it is is a prgram that allows you too do schedualed backups of your computers documents onto a external hard drive. Another nice thing about all of Apple’s OS’s is the hardware that you plug in works. You don’t have to go down long lists of drivers to install the right one for your printer and that is what people like. They like software that just plain works.
So if you are thinking of getting a new computer I would go on Apple’s site and there have really nice computers. Anywhere from all in one’s of desktop machine or laptops. I know people complain that Apple’s hardware costs alot but trust me its worth it. Also if you get a Mac there are software solutions to run Windows on it as well. One of them is Boot Camp and that comes free with the Mac. Or if you want a little more nicer one I suggest VMware but that is going to cost you a little money. So if you have never used a Mac and you are looking for a new computer I suggest a Mac. Now I know Leopard has its problems too.Trust me in the words of Chris Pirillo every OS suck butt it is still by far better than Windows Vista. Pick which ever one suites you the best.
