KVM Switches. What are they? How can they help?

I recently received a email asking how you can manage all your computers easily and that doesn’t take up a lot of space. My answer to their question is a KVM switch. KVM stands for keyboard video mouse. What it is is a way to manage all you computers using one keyboard, one mouse, one monitor, one set of speakers. It is a box that you plug all your computers into it and it as one set off outputs for your monitor, keyboard, and mouse. So you just switch between computers. It is a really good way to manage all your computers without have all these keyboards, monitors, and mice laying around. Belkin makes some pretty good low cost ones. They can usually range from $50.00 to 150.00 depending on what kind you get.
