Never thought I would see that ride again! What a blast from the past. Still just as tacky as it ever was. Last time I was on the ride you could see fake seaweed had broken lose and gotten tangled up in the different lines used to control the creatures.

I can not stand McAfee. It slows my computer down to a crawl without warning and provides not option to WAIT til your not trying to browse the internet to allow it to go hog the resources for a scan or update download.

The experience related in this post is too idiosyncratic to be helpful. The critical issue (which would obviate the need to use a different wireless router at all) concerns the fact that you can’t change the device ID. The writer doesn’t seem to consider that much of a problem, but in fact it’s a HUGE PROBLEM. There is no real need to have an intervening router connection, if the AE base station could clone the MAC address that the ISP expects. The absence of this feature turns the basestation into a barely functional switch. These generally cost in the neighborhood of $10 to $15, not $180.

Ive been using VoltaicHD (from http://www.shedworx.com) which runs on the PC platform but also runs on Macs (Intel and PowerPC ). It works great since it converts the avchd files into suitable formats on both platforms.

Sadly, the Google Photos Screensaver never updates the RSS feeds you give it. It pulls down the RSS data and images once, and then never again.

I agree with your comment in reference to download a free Windows or Office 2007 from MIcrosoft in exchange for them installing a tracking program…nada…not happening…stupid…foolish…too damn greedy. I, like you, like my privacy… whether or not I am doing anything illegal is my business as is my private documents, pictures, banking records and anything else of importance to me…no one else’s business. I’d only agree to allowing that sort of system - where they are allowed to put a tracking program on my computer in exchange for me be allowed to do that to Bill Gates’ computer… Now, that could be interesting there… Our country as a whole is becoming so lacking in people’s privacy it is unbelievable and quite scary. This is up there with the idiot credit card companies insisting on asking for our social security numbers for “verification” whenever we need to open, check, close an account. And people wonder how identity theft could happen to them? And then the other side - where people think it’s ok to give out all sorts of information because they think they have nothing to hide…the gullible fools…

Will this sierra wireless 595u aircard work with my playstation 3? Can I use it to connect and play online ps3 games with it? Maybe if I plug it into the ps3’s usb port, or in the back of a wireless rouoter/
