Friday I downloaded the iPod 2.0 software update and besides the server download issues I was pleased with the whole software. Of course the biggest thing is the app store. I have downloaded about 15 apps and I really like all of the games. Apple really should have done this sooner. I was so pleased to find that a lot of the apps are free; best of all the free apps are not crap. I love Moto Racer and Supper Monkey Ball. The only thing I wish you could do was to adjust the sensitivity of the accelerometer. As of right now the update is well worth it; even to pay $10.00. Also Super Monkey Ball needs to have a save feature. I mean it is one of the best apps out there and it won’t even save your status. The app store is so impressive that there has been more excitement over it then the iPhone 3g itself. I have already spent $40.00.

If you are waiting to see if the update is worth it I would say to go for it. The only thing is that right now there are a few bugs and I have had to do a few restarts and it has lost some data in the process.
