Mac Book Air.

The question at i think of when i think about the air book is did Apple go too far? Well it is hard to tell, but i think the absence of the optical drive is what gets me. I could understand everything else bot being in any abundance if you are on a road trip but the optical drive was too far. Also the fact that it is so wireless is not what I would expect. I think wireless is good for laptops, but the fact that that is the only option i don’t know. Apple also left off many usb and other ports that a user would expect. I also think that is is a bad computer to have any where but on the road. The thing is that it is just good for the road. It is very portable; almost too much, and will not serve as a fully functional computer. The next complaint is that it is more expensive than it’s brother the macbook. I would much rather pay less and get a computer with more functionality then pay more and get less. The over all problem is that Apple made the decision to substitute look for functionality and that was a mistake. I hope that in future versions they will include a optical drive and more ports.
