have you heard of the Microsoft Live service? I was looking at it last night and thought it was a good idea. I also think is nice that all that is for free. That is all I will say to be fair. The thing is, Apple has a similar service to this, dot Mac. This is a nice service and I am singed up for it but this I believe is a copy of their competition. Apple Dot Mac comes for a hefty $100 per year price tag. Microsoft is free. The thing is just like with yahoo buy out, well kinda it is to get rid of their competition. I think, and could be wrong, but we will see; Microsoft will begin to charge for this. They will give it for free until everybody is hooked and then make you start paying for it. They have many different options on how to do this.

1. They could just make you pay.
2. They could update and ,ake you pay for the optional update. This will be more of a long term wa though.

I personally think they will choose the first option. This is just another reason I like Apple. All Microsoft has done in the last year or two is copy. Vista oddly has many features as Leopard and windows Live oddly identical to Dot Mac. What are your opinions? I am anxious to hear and I am totally open to what you have to say.
