I was wonder this and you might have been also. Why does Apple control their product so much. The answer is simple they just want it to work. This is just the way Apple makes sure you get a good product. For instance they only put Apple and Apple Approved software on there.(after you buy it, it is up to you if you take the risk) There is allot of cool programs out there for mac, but you just need to make sure they are not going to kill your system. There are many Apple made programs that come with the system also. I use the I-life suit and love it. (manages all my media) I would strongly suggest it. This is on you computer when you buy it and is not a demo, it’s just there. Now Apple doesn’t just regulate the software but they also regulate the Hardware. This is just so when you buy it you are good to go. They also make sure you have good hardware and that it will are work in harmony. You do not find this if you build your own PC and you will have to make sure you buy well built compatible products. In short Apple just works. This is why there are hardly and errors with the whole system. I would love to hear your opinion, so please rely.
