iPhone SDK key leaked?

The iPhone SDK has been leaked according to a number of websites claiming the same number “18 84 58 A6 D1 50 34 DF E3 86 F2 3B 61 D4 37 74″. So what does this mean? All iPhone applications must be properly signed for iTunes to process them and for the iPhone to load them, this key is to let hackers to creating compliant IPA application bundles for home-brew iTunes distribution. With the proper key, developers can create and distribute applications that load through iTunes. If developers can figure out how to include this newly leaked key in their homebrew apps. We could see 3rd party software installation without the need for Apple’s blessing (and without Apple’s pay-per-app scheme). No word on just how this leaked, but anyone interest should hit the link for more info on the key itself, or google it.

This will more than likely be changed when the SDK is actually released, but…whoever cracked it/figured it out will most likely be able to do it again once apple changes it.
