I finally figured out how to download videos from YouTube!!!! Ok, I have instructions for Linux and Windows. Sorry for all those OS X people out there, but I only have a Windows computer and a couple of Ubuntu computers. Well for Windows you have to download DvdVideoSoft. This is a converter and downloader. It works and it’s free. I recomend the YouTube to iPod and PSP download. Then you go to YouTube and go to a video you want to download and copy the videos link, then paste it into the first bar in FREE YouTube to iPod and PSP 2.8. Then click download and convert and your all set. Now I did this on two different computers and got two different results where the files went. On the one computer they went into the C Drive. What you have to do is in the second bar you can tell the converter what to name the file. So if you left it to the default get_video_1.mp4 or something like that then you would look for that. To get to the video go to My Computer, click C Drive and it’s probally hidden so just click view files or something like that. The scroll to the bottom and there are your videos. Now iff they save to My Documents then you have to got to My Documents then scroll down till you see a folder that has something like Coverted Video. You click the folder. Your going to have several other folders click PSP or iPod, I save my videos with a PSP file format so I clicked PSP, then you click MPEG 4 AAC and the video should be in the there. If its not in hte following places run Search of the Start Menu. In Linux run the Terminal and type “sudo apt-install wine. You need wine to acess the videos. Now you have to get the YouTube installer, type in the terminal “sudo apt-get install youtube-dl” and remember the computer must be connected to the internet. Then it will install. Go to YouTube and find the video you want and copy th URL of the video. Then go in the terminal and type “youtube-dl <and copy URL here>” you don’t need to type in <>, just copy the URL after the “youtube-dl.” Well now you now how to download YouTube videos go and get downloading.
