Donate Extra School Supplies

As the new school year approaches us fast, it is time to hit the stores for supplies. Most big box stores are having their annual back to school sales. I recently was able to purchase all of my child’s supplies for under $10. Now, that might not seem like a lot of money to you and I, but to someone it is.

Give this some thought. Can you spare ten cents for an extra box of crayons, package of paper, or pencils? I’m sure you can. Contact your local school district, and find out how to donate extra supplies. I know the our local grocery stores always have supply drives. Another place to try, would be through your local United Way branch.
