Vinyl is the best

[tags]Since 1986 there have been several formats to compete with the vinyl record, CD’ s were the first big step in technology, the when the net come along, the revolution of of MP3 format arrived. The lastest of course is music for you phone and i tunes.

Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with having different formats of music, the problem i have is quality.

Vinyl is the least compressed of all music. CD is the next one, then all the others are even more compressed. The downside, no matter how rich they make the sound, it looses a lot quality.

Over the best nearly two years, there has been a rise in popularity in the 7″ single format. I’ve always collected them and a lot more artists on major and indie labels are releasing music on 7″ vinyl

For high quality music i have never liked anything but vinyl, the least compressed and with a good quality needles, though physical contacts with vinyl, vibrations and sounds through speakers, the sound is amazing.

The only downside to vinyl of course is that vinyl is deminishes in quality, you could say a lot faster, but that is over along period of time if you take care of your music, it you do, its lasts years.

I know there is always been debiats about this, but as a music fan, vinyl is the altimate.

Vinyl has been around since 1945 when the 7″ single was bought onto the market, before that it was the 78, so no matter what the format on spinning disc, vinyl or plastic on a large disc has been around since the 1920’s
If modern compressed formats are even going to compete with this, something music be done about the quality.

I perfect example is when dance producers make the tunes on software and to keep the quality very high, easy track is saved on big files, which amounts to over all larger file.

An averge dance tune is is 320. ( that based on a 6 minutes). Now an average tune file size is 30 mb file site or maybe more. An MP3 on average 1mb per mintute of music, where is the other 20 odd gone, course its not there[/tags]

Although CD’s have come in leaps and bounds over the years vinyl albums, 7″ singles and 12″ singles are one of the best selling in music history. Although vinyl sales have slowed over the last few years, but have never died and it will never die.

The best way to play music is needle to vinyl, through decent record player( a deck) ,a great amplifier and speakers. Lazers and bitrates can only do so much and deminishes the quality of the music the artist delivers.

as i say there are many arguments, but vinyl is around and still is around for a reason, so i choose vinyl every time.

also it is better to get heavier vinyl because various vinyl releases have come on heavier vinyl recently, thats better for sound also

CD’s are only good for convienience sake, and if your a true die hard fan, buy vinyl because as far as i am concerned digital recording or reproduction of instruments has always demished the qualty and compression, which means lack of sound[/tags]
