Templates
Templates are a great way to get some tremendous graphics in a very short time. Lets face it; even if you could do graphics work as well as a true graphic designer you probably couldn’t afford to spend the time required to create the same level of artwork as you could buy in a pre-made template. A word of advice though; don’t just buy a template and make a site out of it. Do your job as a web developer and make sure that it’s close to a sensible way to do the HTML/XHTML coding. In a lot of cases all you’re going to want are the source images to use in your own valid (or close to it) layout.
Please let me know if you have a favorite template site or designer and I’ll gladly post a link.
