Why Sega Should Release A New Console

“Why Sega should release a new console” is the title of Don Reisinger’s CNET.com’s blog.
He speaks about Sega and its failures in the video game industry. He speaks about how Sega should adopt a new way of thinking and bring their existence into the video game hardware department!

Actually, Sega’s no a newcomer when it comes to developing video game consoles. In fact, it had already developed two or three consoles (Saturn and Dreamcast), but two had gravely failed!

Don Reisinger thinks that Sega should develop a next gen console in order for it to overcome its yearly losses in the video game front.

I honestly believe that if Sega would do a great, unbelievably good features that it would actually succeed in the console war. Who needs a fourth console if it didn’t have anything new to offer to the market and gamers? Xbox has taken over the online department, PS3 has taken over the good quailty games and the new Blu-Ray approach and Wii has certainly taken the fun part I guess and a new controllers scheme.

If Sega didn’t offer anything new, no one will buy their new-would-be-console. What do you think? I’m interested in knowing who actually would welcome Sega if it did actually make a new console!

Crisis Core’s Soundtrack Giveaway

Square Enix is having a contest in which winners will get the Crisis Core soundtrack! It’s very interesting if you ask me, but there’s a problem. I can’t participate because I’m not a citizen of US, Europe or Asia. Where DO I live? you ask? Well, I live in Egypt, which is in Africa. So, I contacted Square Enix about it and all they had to say is to check again maybe I’m listed in their countries, which I’m not! So, what should I do now? I can’t even order from any site that’s listed in the Square Enix site! I’m screwed! I just feel like I’m in another part of the universe, not the world.

I guess I’ll have to download the whole damn thing! I mean how do they expect us to buy their products when they don’t even give us support? Now, I want to buy Crisis Core but can’t, why? ‘Cuz I’m not listed in their to-service countries. This just sucks!

A Connection with Stars?

I was browsing through the ever expanding sea of videos over youtube.com when I noticed something interesting. I found a Vblog of Allison Mack! Yeah, Allison Mack herself. For all of you who don’t know who Allison Mack is, then I’d suggest you go and watch a little series called “Smallville”. The series is about a young Clark Kent (if you don’t know who’s Clark Kent, I really suggest you plunge yourself with something! ) . Allison Mack has the role of being Clark’s best friend. Aside from that, she’s a very beautiful young woman.

Anyways, I found this supposed-to-be official Vblog of her. I’ve seen her answering some questions from viewers and so. But what amazed me the most, is the fact there IS a connection with a star! She may not be a 5-star star… Sorta speak, but she is a star nonetheless! I liked the fact that we could contact her ( being one of favorite actresses, well sort of… ).

Isn’t it exciting to be able to hear and see young stars and not feel like they are some strange species that live in Hollywood and can’t be interacted with unless you want some fat bodyguard jumping all over your ass!

I maybe out of reality here, but hey, that’s how I feel! Do you feel the same way?

PS: Here’s the link to her Vblog Allison Mack

NetCut, Bye Bye!

Yeah! I’ve found a somewhat really good solution to the NetCut problem. It’s in changing your network card’s MAC address! If you don’t know what’s a MAC address, well guess what? I don’t either! Even though a quick trip to Wikipedia.org would solve the problem, but I’m just way too lazy!

Well, you need to change your MAC address, right? “How do I do that?”, you might ask. Well, I found a program that would do all the magic tricks for you!

The program’s name is : “a-Mac Address Change”. In the trial version, you only get to change your address to one address only, but that’s already enough! You just change the MAC address once to that new address and when you get NetCutted again, you just revert to your old MAC address, neat, no?

Too Crowded It’s Lonesome?

I was wondering about something for quite sometime now. Isn’t the internet a wide place where many and many people gather separated by their interests and so on? Even so, don’t you feel sometimes that the internet is so crowded that it’s become lonely to be here? I know this doesn’t make any sense right now, but just think about it!

Even though there are so many people out there, I sometimes feel so lonely. I’m sure many do feel the same way I do, but why is that? I know I’m supposed to be the one giving the answers, not the one requesting them!

Internet these days ( and I say these days cuz I feel differently with time ), feels just like a tool for me to get information. I rarely talk with people, and I almost stopped using chat services anymore! When I’m on the internet, it just feels like I’m shut from the outside world, when I actually should be connected!

Ah, I’m sorry that I dragged along like this, but I’m using the blog to express my feelings to you guys! You can bare with me, right? :D

Lack of Knowledge

I was walking today when I suddenly had a feeling of hunger rushing through my stomach, that’s when i decided to walk into this small diner. They had take-outs as well. I ordered something to eat and waited for it at a table, when suddenly two guys that were arguing asked me about the posters that are on the metro trains, were they one piece stickers, or block-kinda stickers? Of course, I hadn’t the slightest idea on earth so I just stood there and then replied with ” I don’t know “. I felt embarrassed that I didn’t know something so trivial, but then again why would I?

Do I lack the basic knowledge, or it’s not something that I’m supposed to know? I’m sure most people had gone through such an experience in their lives, but why don’t we know better? Why don’t just go out and learn random stuff all the time? I wish I had known the answer to these questions, so I’m leaving the answering to you, people.

PlayStation Network Compromised!

Recently, PlayStaiton.com announced that there “might” have been security breaches to users accounts. They say that some people may have had access to users accounts through PLAYSTATION Store using PCs. They also say that those breachers may have access to users wallets set for use on the PLAYSTATION Store.

They say however, that ( Quote ) “PLAYSTATION Network accounts do not display entire credit card numbers, so any unauthorized access to your PLAYSTATION Network account is very unlikely to compromise your credit card number.” But that in no way a guarantee that those breachers did NOT have access to your credit card number!

Beware, fellow PLAYSTATION users!

Windows 7 Under Microscope?

I recently learned of the production of the so called “windows 7″ which supposedly follows Windows Vista. I also learned that because of past oversight ( namely, the desktop search feature that Google argued that it should be open to other search providers ), Microsoft will be reviewed by TC ( Technical Committee ). Will Microsoft fail to comply with the 2002 decree? Only time will tell!

Time Travel: Science or Fiction?

Hello everyone.

I have always been a fan of physics. Especially the weird kind, lol. Well, I have been blessed to have a friend that shared this passion with me! So, one day we decided to sit and discuss physics. Of course, we have discussed many things, but one “session” was quite unique in that the discussion involved time machines!

We talked for hours about the possibility of creating a time machine - of course, we talked concepts (cuz we lacked mathematical knowledge). What we got to was actually quite interesting!

We, in theory, were able to come up with a way to devise a time machine! Yeah, you heard it right! A freakin’ time machine!

The idea was to simply run light beams and put a particle inside the light field. If you think about it, if you managed to get to the speed of light, then everything will stop. Time would stop at that moment. So, if you managed to exceed the speed of light, then guess what would happen? Yeah, it’s right! You will reverse time! Yeah, if you think about it, it’s quite possible!

But what’s bugging me all day now, is that my friend - whom I created the theory with (he did the better part of thinking) - told me that some scientist HAD already invented what we had suffered to come up with! Yeah, if you follow this link, you’ll find the interview with that scientist. Oh man! After we came up with the theory and all, some scientist had to steal our moment!

Well, at the least, we were right! That’s satisfying to some extent.

Well, that’s all. I’ll come later with some more news or something.

Finally! A Great RapidShare Tip!

Hey everyone! I’m here with a very impressive tip for all of you! Have ever tried to download from RapidShare only to know that you can’t download more than once or twice in a row? How many times did you try to find a solution for that but failed? How many programs you tried before realizing they all sucked?

Well, now I’m here to present you with the ultimate hack for RapidShare! Yeah, you heard right!

In order to download repeatedly from RapidShare, yeah, repeatedly, you only need one thing to know, and you’re set to go!

You need access to your router! that’s it!

For you who don’t know how to access their router, well, I will put here some pointers.

First, you need to go to your router’s homepage. If you’re not sure how to go there just check your network connection’s properties.

  1. Go to “My Network Places” then click on “View network connections” to the left.

  2. Right click your active connection (the one that provides you with Internet access); most likely it will be named something like “Local Area Connection.” After you right click it, choose “Status” from the drop down menu.
  3. Choose the “Support” tab, and look to “Default Gateway.” You’ll find a number (mostly it will be something like 10.0.0.138 or something). Take the number and paste it in your internet browser.

Alternative method: Go to “Run” under Start–>type “cmd”–>type “ipconfig”–>take the number from the “Default Gateway”

  4. You will be required to enter the username and the password of the router. If you don’t know that, you need to contact your router provider or something. Otherwise, you’re screwed!

PS: You may be able to find some of the more common user names and password for routers (e.g. username=admin password=admin , username = root password = root).

After that, you need to find a link that will enable you to restart or disconnect your router. You will need to do that in order to enjoy RapidShare’s fountain of treasure!

So, bottom line is: Disconnect your router from the Web page and the connect it again, that way you’ll be able to download endlessly from RapidShare.com!

Been a pleasure to help you :)
