Crisis Core’s Soundtrack Giveaway

Square Enix is having a contest in which winners will get the Crisis Core soundtrack! It’s very interesting if you ask me, but there’s a problem. I can’t participate because I’m not a citizen of US, Europe or Asia. Where DO I live? you ask? Well, I live in Egypt, which is in Africa. So, I contacted Square Enix about it and all they had to say is to check again maybe I’m listed in their countries, which I’m not! So, what should I do now? I can’t even order from any site that’s listed in the Square Enix site! I’m screwed! I just feel like I’m in another part of the universe, not the world.

I guess I’ll have to download the whole damn thing! I mean how do they expect us to buy their products when they don’t even give us support? Now, I want to buy Crisis Core but can’t, why? ‘Cuz I’m not listed in their to-service countries. This just sucks!

A Connection with Stars?

I was browsing through the ever expanding sea of videos over youtube.com when I noticed something interesting. I found a Vblog of Allison Mack! Yeah, Allison Mack herself. For all of you who don’t know who Allison Mack is, then I’d suggest you go and watch a little series called “Smallville”. The series is about a young Clark Kent (if you don’t know who’s Clark Kent, I really suggest you plunge yourself with something! ) . Allison Mack has the role of being Clark’s best friend. Aside from that, she’s a very beautiful young woman.

Anyways, I found this supposed-to-be official Vblog of her. I’ve seen her answering some questions from viewers and so. But what amazed me the most, is the fact there IS a connection with a star! She may not be a 5-star star… Sorta speak, but she is a star nonetheless! I liked the fact that we could contact her ( being one of favorite actresses, well sort of… ).

Isn’t it exciting to be able to hear and see young stars and not feel like they are some strange species that live in Hollywood and can’t be interacted with unless you want some fat bodyguard jumping all over your ass!

I maybe out of reality here, but hey, that’s how I feel! Do you feel the same way?

PS: Here’s the link to her Vblog Allison Mack

NetCut, Bye Bye!

Yeah! I’ve found a somewhat really good solution to the NetCut problem. It’s in changing your network card’s MAC address! If you don’t know what’s a MAC address, well guess what? I don’t either! Even though a quick trip to Wikipedia.org would solve the problem, but I’m just way too lazy!

Well, you need to change your MAC address, right? “How do I do that?”, you might ask. Well, I found a program that would do all the magic tricks for you!

The program’s name is : “a-Mac Address Change”. In the trial version, you only get to change your address to one address only, but that’s already enough! You just change the MAC address once to that new address and when you get NetCutted again, you just revert to your old MAC address, neat, no?

Hackers Target Facebook Applications

I’ve read in a news piece that hackers nowadays target Facebook many independent applications. If you’re one of the many users of the ever popular Facebook applications, beware! Many of these applications developer, either know very little of security or just don’t care about security. Those kinda developers are the ones you blindly give away your informations to, to freely display to any malicious hacker out there! I’m not saying the developers do that intentionally, but rather without their knowledge.

You’re Being Talked About!

Have you ever wondered after leaving a room or something if the people who were in that room were talking about you? I’m talking about people whom you might consider your friends, family or colleagues!

In a recent study, an astonishing find showed that 93% of people ARE talked about as they leave a room! Yeah, amazing, huh? So, if you ever have felt that little gut feeling that someone’s talking about you the moment you leave, rest assured, it’s almost 100% true!!

Follow this link to read the rest of the finding!

Too Crowded It’s Lonesome?

I was wondering about something for quite sometime now. Isn’t the internet a wide place where many and many people gather separated by their interests and so on? Even so, don’t you feel sometimes that the internet is so crowded that it’s become lonely to be here? I know this doesn’t make any sense right now, but just think about it!

Even though there are so many people out there, I sometimes feel so lonely. I’m sure many do feel the same way I do, but why is that? I know I’m supposed to be the one giving the answers, not the one requesting them!

Internet these days ( and I say these days cuz I feel differently with time ), feels just like a tool for me to get information. I rarely talk with people, and I almost stopped using chat services anymore! When I’m on the internet, it just feels like I’m shut from the outside world, when I actually should be connected!

Ah, I’m sorry that I dragged along like this, but I’m using the blog to express my feelings to you guys! You can bare with me, right? :D

Lack of Knowledge

I was walking today when I suddenly had a feeling of hunger rushing through my stomach, that’s when i decided to walk into this small diner. They had take-outs as well. I ordered something to eat and waited for it at a table, when suddenly two guys that were arguing asked me about the posters that are on the metro trains, were they one piece stickers, or block-kinda stickers? Of course, I hadn’t the slightest idea on earth so I just stood there and then replied with ” I don’t know “. I felt embarrassed that I didn’t know something so trivial, but then again why would I?

Do I lack the basic knowledge, or it’s not something that I’m supposed to know? I’m sure most people had gone through such an experience in their lives, but why don’t we know better? Why don’t just go out and learn random stuff all the time? I wish I had known the answer to these questions, so I’m leaving the answering to you, people.

Japanese Paper Plane!

I recently read on CNN.com about a Japanese paper plane planed for launch into space. The plane is about 2.8 inches long and 2 inches wide. It’s a prototype that has survived Mach 7 speeds and scorching temperatures up to 446 degrees Fahrenheit in a hypersonic wind tunnel in a test outside of Tokyo this February.

Those Japanese people are quite something! They’re my idols :). I’m actually thinking about going to Japan in two years or something, because THAT would be something, right?

PlayStation Network Compromised!

Recently, PlayStaiton.com announced that there “might” have been security breaches to users accounts. They say that some people may have had access to users accounts through PLAYSTATION Store using PCs. They also say that those breachers may have access to users wallets set for use on the PLAYSTATION Store.

They say however, that ( Quote ) “PLAYSTATION Network accounts do not display entire credit card numbers, so any unauthorized access to your PLAYSTATION Network account is very unlikely to compromise your credit card number.” But that in no way a guarantee that those breachers did NOT have access to your credit card number!

Beware, fellow PLAYSTATION users!

Windows 7 Under Microscope?

I recently learned of the production of the so called “windows 7″ which supposedly follows Windows Vista. I also learned that because of past oversight ( namely, the desktop search feature that Google argued that it should be open to other search providers ), Microsoft will be reviewed by TC ( Technical Committee ). Will Microsoft fail to comply with the 2002 decree? Only time will tell!
