I like looking for strange and unique technology. While surfing around I found this little gem.
By Sega Toys, this is a planetarium for your bathroom. Called the “Homestar”, it is a small device shaped like the planet Saturn and has three modes. The first mode projects a simulation of a starry night sky in your bathroom. Another mode projects flower patterns and, get this, submerge the device under water and it creates the illusion of bathing in a blue sea, complete with fish swimming around. Sega Toys plans to start selling the device in September for $70 and is targeting women aged 20 - 40.

I saw this on Gizmodo, but didn’t much use for it… Now looking at it, I think it would be great in my pool…. turn it into the ocean or something…. i think its pretty good
