I have recently made another breakthrough with the help of Anthony Robbins book “unlimited power”. That is , I could never understand why when I became closer and closer to my goals I would always sabotage myself before I had actually achieve it. I couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t let myself accept what I thought was rightfully my piece of the pie. For example, when I first left college I was offered a very high paying job in the electrical field at one of the top paying producers of gasoline . At my age I was making more money faster than I have ever dreamed possible. Though it was a tough job I could see lots of potential and very quick advancements in my desired field of study. Little did I know that there was an enemy behind the gates with a plan to take all my hopes down. That enemy was my on conscious. After ten years worth of mistakes and bridges burnt and opportunities missed , I never really believed in what I was doing , what I had went to school for , and planed to do the rest of my life was now a complete lie. I now realize that the goals I tried to accomplish wasn’t my dreams at all , they where a product of what my dad wanted and not what I wanted. I have always believed that me and my old man where two separate people but always strived for his approval. I just had different hopes and dreams than him, and I didn’t value those dreams the same as him. Therefore sabotaging my self unconsciously. This now realized, I now have to find my true calling, the thing that I was put on this earth to do. No matter who you are, a CEO of a big company, or a homeless man under a bridge, both have a purpose only the homeless man has just lost himself or maybe the same could be said for the CEO, either way, both have a diamond inside, its just up to us to find it inside us .No one else in the world knows what you need but you .You are the only one that deals with your secrets. You are the one who deals with your pain. You are the one who has to get yourself up in the mourning. So don’t take someone else view of who you are, like I did. Though I’m sure that they meant only the best intentions for you, still only YOU know who you are. YOUR NOT A SHEEP SO DON’T BE HERDED. YOUR NOT A TUNA, SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO STAY WITH THE SCHOOL. You are the only one in this world and you will be the only one that will ever be. Like the old saying “life isn’t a dress rehearsal”. Inside us all is a beautiful diamond, just waiting to be found in the depths of ourselves. Most likely, fear is what keeps us from discovering this part of ourselves. But what is life without purpose , I think its worth the trouble. when I look at myself in the mirror I want to say “THAT’S WHO I AM “, don’t you.
