Top Gear on NBC

They did it, they moved the show. I feel like we Americans are kind of like Frankenstein, we are the geniuses not willing to leave well enough alone with God and life, tinkering with things we aught not tinker with. We end up with an abomination.

Top Gear has grown and been seasoned since 1977. NBC is trying to cram decades of growth and sophistication into ()@!) (the previous explitive actually spells 90210 nine oh two one oh with the shift key held down) No amount of television programming experience will reproduce the passion, and chemistry of the current Top Gear makeup, there’s just enough cordial adversity to make the British version fun. It’s why I love my mini……….. IF an NBC exec is reading this, you didn’t understand that comparison did you, cordial adversity to mini ownership (owning any British car really)

Here is what I am expecting from NBC

A. An episode devoted to American Muscle cars Dodge VS Chevy.

An actual Top Gear episode would be

A. Cupholders the good, the bad, why the hell did it take so long, the best driving car for drinking latte’s, cars that still don’t have cupholders, and will never ever ever ever EVER need them.

Coffee and cigars, we drive to South America with our Toyota Prius for a high mileage tooth staining adventure. How is the Prius off road?

I’m not expecting much from NBC, mostly the rape of a good show.
