Why all the panic over $4/gas? all it means is having to make choices, I’ll probably ride my bike to work more, I won’t take the boat fishing as much. I’m giving my staff a raise to fend off the bite. For years Detroit has created the false mystique of large automobile ownership, forced communities to build bigger roads, (maybe more people will learn how to ride motorcycles?) I’ve seen enough huge motorhomes pulling full sized SUV’s roll through our town to make me relish the high fuel prices. How much luxury is enough when you’re camping for heavens sake. High fuel prices will cause the very smart people that live here to tap a better energy source. Why all the panic?
