Mozilla working on extension to integrate Firefox and eBay

It seems like Mozilla and eBay are working together on a new Firefox add-on to integrate Ebay into Firefox. The Firefox Companion for eBay is only in private testing for the moment, but I would like to test and provide feedback you can leave your email at the project’s website to be added as a betatester in the near future.
At this time, there are few details known about this extenstion and how the integration could be. Maybe something as the Ebay toolbar for Internet Explorer so you can easily manage your own auctions and have site integration?
Is this needed? I don’t know. In general my screen estate is to valuable to fill it with toolbars (for me the Google toolbar is the only one, but I use the space on it also to display my bookmarks folder). If you almost live with Ebay this could be handy. I subscribed for the beta test and will keep your posted about it.

I recently started using an eBay toolbar for Firefox that I found at http://myeBayFox.com
It’s the coolest thing!
Besides from the toolbar it blocks ads and includes a script in the toolbar that shows thumbnails for all searches. Everything looks a lot more organized and I can keep track of my auctions in an easier way. It definitely makes the eBay experience a better one!!

I’m not a fan of toolbars, but the feature of showing thumbnails for ALL listings is great. I just simply hide the toolbar, and the thumbnails are generated in the background.
