A Long Road Cut Short

  • No Related Post

It’s been a nice run of twelve fun years, but my days of bowling leagues are being abruptly ended until I can find another job that offers me more money, better pay, and better treatment.

My current place of employment, Burger King, has not been supplying me with sufficient hours and monies to get me through this tough economic time. My boss has not listened to my requests, scratches out anything I write to him, and treats me like a piece of trash. He still owes me money (around $70) in unpaid wages, which he KNOWS he still owes me. He treated me cruelly in my first several months of employment there, calling me things such as a homosexual (Which I am not, and will never be. This is all because I don’t have a girlfriend.) and a retard. He also showed me male pornography while on the floor, made fun of me in front of co-workers, who, subsequently, joined in on it. I feel very depressed when I work there now, even though I hide it most of the time.

I made this blog post because I need to let the world know what’s going on with me right now, and that the world needs to know what I am going through there. I am not who I used to be before I worked there, and I will never be the same. The old me is completely tarnished. I only hope and pray that I can get the job(s) at Apple, Inc., because they are my last hope of getting a new job and getting out of BK, and I can feel a little more like myself. Also, if I get the job at Apple, I know I will be getting more hours, which means more money, which means I can return to bowling again… but until then, my bowling days are done.

I hope you all understand this. I am deeply saddened, but this was the sacrifice I had no choice but to make.

Have a nice day,

Eric Jones [Bowler4Ever]
