Harvey Korman; Comedian, “Carol Burnett” star; Dies at 81

Harvey Korman was one of the funniest people I have ever seen perform live on the planet. He, along with Tim Conway, are, in my opinion, the Dynamic Duo of modern comedy. Their skits have inspired today’s comedians, they made millions of people collapse on their living room floors laughing, and they turned the world upside down.
Harvey Korman could never hold in his laughter. In the Dentist sketch (which is by far the funniest sketch, in my opinion) Korman has a sore tooth which needs to be extracted. So Conway proceeds to numb Korman up….Instead, he stabs HIMSELF 3 times. In the hand, in the leg, then in the head. During that period of time, Korman is just dying of laughter in the dentist chair.
He died of an earlier complication he had a few months ago. I’ll be honest, I nearly cried when I found out the news. He was a riot when I saw him live with Conway. My parents are huge fans of them. He will be sadly missed.
RIP Harvey Korman.

I love Harvey, too. The Carol Burnett Show is irreplaceable. I’ve been buying the show from Guthey Renker for the last few months. I mention that only because I looked for this show for years & couldn’t find it. And no, I don’t work for them.
Watching Harvey crack up was the funniest thing to watch. When I was in Vegas, I asked a clerk if she ever saw any celebrities. I didn’t care about the plastic people, but when she named Harvey & Tim Conway, I was thrilled to find out they were friends in real life, especially after all these years. I hoped the chemistry they had on screen was as real as it appeared. I love them both. Carol, too. Indeed, the whole cast.
