Well, it was my league on Saturday again…and boy was it an interesting day. My scores went from the low 180s (I think it was 181 and 183) to a 217 in the final game.
My first shot in the first game resulted in the “Big 5″, also known as the “Greek Church” (4,6,7,8,10) split. Now, to make this shot (since I’m a lefty) I had to hit the LEFT side of the 4 pinm hit the 8, ball takes out the 7. Usually, sliding the 4 into the 8, then into the 6-10 or bouncing the 8 out of the pit and into the 10 to domino the 6 would be the ideal way to make it. Well, I threw the ball to far right and I hit the RIGHT side of the 4 pin. The 4 takes out the 7, ball caroms into the 8, 4 goes into the backend and ricochets off the pit, back onto the pindeck, kisses the 10 pin (topples) and the 10 rolls onto the fallen 4 pin to roll the 6 out. Boy was it beautiful! (If you want this translated into English, let me know!)
…The next frame I left another split, which I was unsuccessful to make. I had a ton of bad luck in that game and the game after.
