Do you miss the good old days of Win 98 and the classic theme? Are you sick of the new aero interface? If you want some good old themes for your PC, I have the perfect answer for you! Kteck, a regular over on the Wyldryde IRC network, took his time to create a package of downloads that allows you to install and use Plus! Win 98 themes on Windows 2000, XP, or even Microsoft’s lovely Vista. Check out a screenshot of the space theme — now who wouldn’t want that?! Kteck also makes a widget pack that lets you access some of the ustream community from your desktop, both on the Mac and Windows.

The fact that there is a recovery pop up shown in the preview window makes me less then willing to install any such conversions.
I trust Kteck but it seems silly of him to use such a preview picture with a error clearly visible. Is he trying to hint that its not exactly something wise to install?
I have no idea how the themes would run on XP,2000 etc.. I barely remember using them on 98SE. So I dont know if it effects system sounds, the task bar, the windows, the fonts..etc.
I have seen people mess there computer up rather bad with such types of conversions, the font disappearing or getting to large, the system sounds not functioning.. The list goes on.

I like the high fashion theme and the world traveller theme. Can you convert those to vista?

Where can you download the program. I clicked the link but can’t find it. I’m looking for the Windows 98 main desktop picture for the Windows 98 Plus! theme and the space screen saver for Windows 98.
I have gotten a copy of Windows 98 but didn’t fully install because I ran into some trouble. Probably my computer hardware is too new.
