Windows Vista, the Microsoft OS that everyone loves to hate , and for good reason isn’t doing so hot in the marketplace. Well now Microsoft wants to give you Vista Ultimate, which retails for a cool $399, for the low, low price of Free! Yep just visit their website enroll in the Windows Feedback Program, take a few surveys (no more than one every two weeks), and download a small program that sends information about your software and your computer will be recorded and sent back to Microsoft, then 3 months later Microsoft will send you your free copy of Vista in the mail! In other free software news, and one that doesn’t require you giving up you dignity to Microsoft, you can pick up the DivX Codec for Free (Windows, Mac). No trial, no giant corporation looking over your shoulder, just a great deal. I personally have installed it and love the fact that I don’t need to dish out another 20 dollars! As for the Whole Microsoft Feedback Program, I’ll pass, I do have some dignity you know!
