Apple Sexist?

I was watching the three five new iPhone commercials on the apple site, and while I had seen the commercials on TV, one of my friends had told me there was something funny about the three of them, but he couldn’t put his finger on it. So I was watching them online and running the names through my head, Elliot, Doug, Stefano, Elliot, Doug, Stefan… they’re all guys mainly guys (one of the newest has a lady)!
Maybe apple was going for the man factor, maybe it was a mistake, or maybe they thought no one would see it? The commercials come from actual people who have submitted why they like their iPhone so much, but still a token women would may have been a smart thing. The reason: Women attach to their phones more than men. Men buy cheap cases, women buy pink, rhinestone studded ones. Women find the phone a part of themselves, men find it a phone.
I sure in the next few weeks apple will roll out a women, they did in all the other product commercials. Convince them, Apple, and they will come.

Really? None of the women I know do. You’re coming across as more sexist than Apple.

maybe, but most of the girls that I know have some pretty unique cases and things I would never think of putting on my cell phone

Ohhh come on why does 1 out of every three people in a comercial have to be a woman?
I mean women don’t have money…. (Do you get paid for kitchen work?)

My feeling is that they don’t place a lot of women in Iphone promotions is that women in general are too smart to buy a 500 dollar phone with all the restrictions
Apple built in to it. If guys were as smart and refused to buy it because “IT’S COOL” and sales were way lower than expected, Apple would soon see the error of their ways and clean up the Iphone systems so it would be usable and practical for more users………….but they know that “FanBoys” are a ready market and one they can exploit easily. Never heard of “FanGirls” they’re just too smart.

I think it’s more that a woman is more likely to buy something advertised by a man that it is that a man will buy something advertised by a woman.
