The lovely Chris Pirillo has been having some trouble with his Comcast service lately (here and here) is not having trouble with the firmware on his modem being rewritten dumping his speed way down. So I decided to check out my favorite site for consumer news The Consumerist and see if there were other problems like that with Comcast. Well let’s see what I found:
A hate site for Comcast.
Confessions of a Customer Rep (sounds exactly like the rep Chris dealt with).
Comcast cuts DSL lines and doesn’t want to fix the mistake.
Comcast blocks service on self install.
Mmm… seems like Comcast really is one of those companies that people have a reason to hate. Best of luck to Chris, he muted the stream when he dealt with another rep, and is now off the air.
