Net Neutrality in 2008

For people like me Net Neutrality is a major issue, but it most not be for most Americans. I went to almost all of the candidates pages running for President in 2008, and only two of the candidates mentioned it (Bill Richardson and Mike Gravel). I don’t know about any one else out there, but it is both disturbing and disappointing that this topic has flown so far off the radar. People really don’t care or know what could happen to the internet if the likes of Verizon, AT&T and Comcast are able to enact laws allowing it.
Again I am only one person, and I understand that there are bigger fish to fry (i.e. War in Iraq, Healthcare, etc.) but it is still disheartening to see it. I emailed all of the candidates, so we’ll see if any of them reply.
