So I stumbled across this article on Gizmodo yesterday, and was wondering what everyone’s thought would be.
Please feel free to give your opinion and a brief (or expansive) explanation as to why you think that.

 Above is a video I created showing how you can (with Windows XP) create custom ringtones and put them on your iPhone/iPhone 3G. This is a much simpler and much cheaper way of doing it than paying Apple $1/song and $1/:30 second clip of that song.  I’m also taking  .50¢ [...]
