Netflix To Offer Credits For Shipping Delays

Netflix has announced to some of its users that there could be some shipping delays. The email I received stated that two of my DVD’s were experiencing a delay in getting to my home. This was surprising since Netflix has always been one of the best online services that I have used. I did check [...]

When Your Google Account Is Disabled

Here is another horror story about someone having their Google account disabled. As you may have recalled, I had this exact same problem with Google as well. [See article here.] Which is starting to make me wonder. How many Google users are finding their accounts disabled?
In this article from Chris Brogan he explains why ‘Google [...]

One Man’s Problem Getting His Printer To Work With Vista - Amazing!

I just read a story over at Tood Bishops blog in which he describes one man’s fight to get his printer working with his Vista computer. Normally this wouldn’t be much of a story, but what was amazing, to say the least, it took someone from Microsoft to actually figure out what the problem was. [...]

Symantec Partially To Blame For Windows XP SP3 Fiasco

When I read last week that Symantec was shifting the blame onto Microsoft for the problems that appeared after SP3 was installed on a system running Symantec software, I paused before writing about this. First of all Symantec products have a reputation for being, shall we say, suspect even when nothing else is happening on [...]

Creative To Unofficial Vista Driver Writer: Stop That!

I spotted this posted by Temmu over at Scot’s Newsletter forum I found it hard to believe. It seems that a Daniel_K [...]

Firefox 3 Beta 1 - I Was Right!

In my last few reports referencing Firefox 3 beta 1, I stated that RAM usage was taking off like a rocket when the beta was first installed. On 3 test systems RAM shot up over 900 MB and the systems became totally unusable. What was surprising about this was that some folks did not [...]
