Patients Take Over Asylum, Google Wants To Look Like Bing!

In what can only be described as a botched experiment, Google users were in a huff, after Google replaced the plain Jane white background we know and love with this and other images:

Only one word can describes this behavior. Shocking!

Google should be held responsible for the psychological damage they have caused. I may personally never recover! LOL

    Yeah I didn’t like it much either, so I just uploaded one of my own backgrounds and dealt.

    If you would have done your research, you would have known that was only for a day. They did it to promote their new background adding feature. I know you are just joking around, but I have seen hundreds of other people seriously flipping out.

      Hi Dylan,
      What has always made using Google search pleasurable was the fact that it is a neat, clean, site with the plain white background.
      Changing anything, whether for one day, or to promote their new background themes is ludicrous. When one has a world winning
      product, why change it? IMHO.

    AWFUL!!!

    Google execs- please rethink this. It is a terrible idea…and is distracting & annoying when what we’ve come to expect & count on is a clean, logical search.

    It was Disgusting- if I wanted backgrounds like that i would be using bing.
