Over at Engadget they have a rumor in which it states that Barnes & Noble’s Nook may be sold at Best Buy. Exactly when this happens is currently unknown. But it does makes sense since Amazon will be selling their Kindle at Target. It appears that the e-readers wars are about to heat up. But this is only part of the story that I think needs to be told.

Last week while in Arlington, TX. visiting my cousin, we had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. Two words. Yum-Yum. For a chain they have some of the best desserts around and it was a treat to enjoy their carrot cake, which doesn’t come by the slice, but is more like a hunk. LOL After dinner we took a stroll through Barnes and Noble, and I had forgotten how good it was to be surrounded by books. I gazed up and down the aisle and it was like being with an old friend once again.

So while many folks are making the change from books to Kindles or the Nook, I still enjoy flipping the pages on a hard cover or paperback for my reading enjoyment.

I am sure that one day books will be gone because of environmental issues, and we will have have e-readers.
