Burger King Has A New Secret Weapon

Posted by on Feb 22, 2010 | 14 Comments

Burger King with some 12,000 restaurants around the world, is introducing what they describe is a ‘new secret weapon’. The king of flame has announced that effective immediately all of their restaurants will be using a new flame broiler to enhance the taste of their foods. In addition, Burger King may be adding future changes to their menu to take advantage of the new technology.

In a recent article it states that:

“This new broiler is a game-changing piece of equipment and a significant point of differentiation for us,” said John Schaufelberger, senior vice president, global product marketing and innovation, Burger King Corporation. “Not only is the technology revolutionary to our industry, it is proprietary to the BURGER KING(R) brand. It allows us to up the ante in our product development across the board – from superior quality food and unconventional menu innovations to even more competitive value offerings.”

Burger King Corporation is currently testing a variety of products that can now be made on the new broiler, including fall-off-the-bone BK(R) Fire-Grilled Ribs, stuffed burgers packed with flavor from the inside out, and an array of one-of-a-kind offerings for breakfast, snacks and even flame-kissed desserts.

So what is your favorite fast food burger  joint? I like the whopper at Burger King, the  fries from McDonald and a shake from Braums. LOL

Comments welcome.

The only way that could make that stuff worse for you is by adding crack.

      Thanks for the laugh.

Why the HECK would Burger King talk so highly of a broiler? They’re acting like it’s a god. All it does is generate more ways for the greedy Burger King Corporation to make fating food and more money. They’re food is some of the worst out of all the Big fast-food burger joints. I will eat McDonald’s, Wendy’s, but not Burger King. Not again.

Just say No to eating animals!

Bruce – I’ll think of you when enjoying a lovely steak tonight.

Being a BK employee, I’m naturally biased towards them, but I’ve been a fan long before.

A new broiler would be bad-ass. Ours is on its way out.

I agree w/Lefty. Burger King’s food always tasted burnt to me. Wanna make me happy? Make them burgers AT LEAST one full pound, if not two, of beef! Check out the show “Man vs. Food” for suggestions.

I like the BK whopper, But if you want a GREAT burger, In-&-Out Burger’s “Double-double” cheeseburger for the win.

    I prefer Wendys.

The Original Tommy’s Burgers, Beverly and Rampart, Los Angeles.

One of the few great things I miss growing up in Downtown LA was going to the Chinese Theater to see a movie, and stopping at Tommy’s on the way home for a Double-Chili-Cheese Burger!

Tommy’s burgers make the rest look like tofu and sprouts!

More power to PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals). Meat: Yum!

    As for fav burgers:

Hamburger King (two establishments ion one small college town) followed by imitation Hamburger King hamburgers sold by Sonic. If I can’t have one of those, a Whataburger will do.

Braum’s shakes are OK, if one can’t get home made.

Fries? Hardees’ curly fries with either their “horsey sauce” or mustard.

Burger King, McDonald’s and Wendy’s can go fish for my $$s. They’ll not catch much, but they can try.

The best burgers always come from Mom and Pop burger stands.
