What, no 3D! LOL! Technology always amazes me and these new sets from Vizio are the newest cutting edge in HDTV. One question. Vizio most likely is the #1 TV company in America, but is it not the only company left in America that makes TVs?

Comments welcome.

The largest LCD TV manufacturer in the USA? How they got there is beyond me! They seem to “build-in” problems that many people complain about and then do nothing about.
After paying $1700.00 for a TV, one would expect it to last beyond the end of its warranty.
Do a google on Vizio, and you will find many unsatisfied customers.

With all due respect, but you mention:
    > Vizio most likely is the #1 TV company in America, but is it not the only company left in America that makes TVs?
Like the other big ones: Samsun, Sony, LG, all of the materials are sourced outside of America, most of the work is done outside as well.

So, is there any company that “makes” TVs in the US ??

    Greetings from Asia.

Good point. I should of said ‘assembly’ of TV’s

  • Ron

VIZIO is headquartered in the USA… they are the largest American marketer of LCD HDTV products… these products are assembled for them in a factory in Taiwan (“Made in China”).
