Once in a while, a silly little gimmick product comes along that captures the hearts and minds of an entire generation for one brief, shining spark of time. The Snuggie is such an invention, and I think this new Snuggle Suit from JC Penney’s could be another.
The Consumerist describes it as a bathrobe/jumpsuit hybrid. Basically, it’s a robe with leggings for people who find normal robes way too drafty. Is the snuggle suit a silly product trying to cash in on a meme? Yes, but that doesn’t make the snuggle suit any less awesome. Right now, you can nab this suit for only $19.99, marked down from its original MSRP of $60. The snuggle suit comes in black, red, or turquoise.

I personally can see that this would be great on a cold winter night, sitting by the fireplace and reading a good book. Heck, it would be great for just lounging around watching TV.

I had a snuggie and gave it away. Just received my snuggie suit and fell in love immediately. It’s soft and comfortable. Wouldn’t wear it to the store, even though I could. Highly recommend it. for lounging around the house.
