I’m sure Microsoft and others spent quite a bit of time and expertise making sure everything runs quickly and smoothly. Speedup programs are rarely anything more substantial than snake oil.

There is no ‘Magic’ program that will speed up your computer. Windows suffers from a process of slow bloat that overtime loads so much stuff into the registry that even simple actions like opening folders can take forever.

Spyware, malware, and small crappy programs that stay running can cause your system to act like sluggish. It is important to run a good active scanner to make sure that you do not get infected with crap you do not need.

One of the best ‘fixes’ for any computer is to reinstall, or install a fresh, operating system. I do this every couple years.

If you are truly unhappy with your performance, then it may be time to look at an upgrade, more ram, new processor, etc. Or just a whole new computer.

Before you spend any money on something like ‘Finally Fast’ you should look at what programs are loading when you start up, reducing the number of running programs, that are using memory, is the first step to increasing performance.

My computer had become horribly slow and seemed to “spin its wheels” endlessly when asked to perform any function (open files, run a program, etc.). I do periodically empty the cache, defrag, etc. and I am running ZoneAlarm Antivirus. My partner’s teenage son, whom we regard as a computer geek, recommended FinallyFast.com. I purchased that program as well as RamRocket. The program supposedly found and “fixed” around 800 errors. That was 3 days ago. As of today my computer is running as slow as ever. I wonder if I can get my money back and also, how can I actually improve my PC’s performance.

@ Kashif Exactly. The only problem between Macs and PCs is cost. If I could, I would get a Mac and start using it more than my PCs. The only thing good about PCs is that they can run more games.

WOT is based through User Feedback. A possiblity is that through the real dislike for the site for alot obvious reasons, ( like selling software that’s available for free) people began listing the site as Untrustworthy. It only takes 2 clicks to state it as an unsafe site. That may be why the sites safety rating are conflicting.

Im sure the software and the website are safe. But then again, i wouldn’t trust a site who sell free software. It takes advantage of the average unknowing internet user for a profit. Its just wrong.

GET A MAC!!

Sorry that was a bit loud, but Macs’ won’t need to use finally fast as they are always fast. And about finally fast speeding up your Internet that is untrue. That is determined by your connection, so Internet will not be faster.

I don’t trust a site who’s commercials are doctored not showing the actual use of the website but more of flash pasted on computer screens and who uses Macs in the commercials but showing windows being ran, they also show no support for OSX(like you need it) but still, then again I use a Mac so I have no use for the site anyway
